A Practice of Noticing

Solo exhibition of 21, 24x36” photographic silk panels. I am drawn to the details of a place and how time, texture, perception, and imagination are layered to create the stories that make up our world. My current work is a multi-tiered project built on a mindfulness practice expressed through photographs. The physicality of the panels changes an ephemeral moment into an object to be considered and the exhibition of the 21 panels together provides space for the viewer to stop, breathe, and notice the whole moment.
